My name is Sarah and I am a Christian blogger from IN. I really like history, sunsets, photography, the color yellow, sunshine, keychains, quiet mornings, cats, Jesus, calligraphy, & coffee. I am the oldest of my mom’s four children, however I have three older siblings that share the same dad as me. We recently reconnected with my oldest brother this summer after no contact for years. It is so wonderful having another piece of my dad in our lives after losing him.
I lost my dad to suicide in January 2017. Although we did not have the greatest relationship, I’ve been taking it really hard. I know that he would be so proud of all of the things I’ve accomplished since his passing, including graduating high school and choosing my college. I actually recently looked ahead to my predicted graduation date in 2020, and, if the college follows the same timeline it has been, I’m supposed to graduate on his birthday. That blew me away but I know for sure that it’s all in God’s plan.
I really like photography, so you can see some of it on Instagram, VSCO, and Flickr. I don’t have the fanciest camera, I don’t have the best editing software (however, VSCO is the bomb.com), and I’m not very consistent, but I do the best with what I have. I am constantly growing with my skills since I’ve been at it for over 6 years now.
I really enjoy calligraphy and bullet journaling, even though my perfectionism sometimes gets the best of me when making spreads for my weeks. It allows me to be creative and use my skills in great ways. I mostly enjoy lettering Bible verses and quotes, but I’m always open to do new things as well.
I am currently 2nd year college student studying psychology and art.
